Big Handsome made his Stakes debut a winning one when he powered to a five-and-a-quarter-length victory in the seven-furlong Paradise Creek Stakes at Belmont Park. It was the third straight victory for the three-year-old son of Street Boss, who improved his record to three wins in six lifetime starts.
Settled just off the pace in third, Big Handsome made his move on the far turn, racing up to the leaders while sweeping three-wide. The dark bay colt hit the front at the top of the stretch and never looked back as he drew off for the sharp-looking victory.
Bred in Kentucky by Rabbah Bloodstock LLC, Big Handsome is out of the winning Forest Wildcat mare, Moojha. Big Handsome’s second dam is Kiss The Devil, winner of the G3 Early Times Mint Julep Stakes and the dam of Stakes winners Kiss Moon (G3 Old Forester Mint Julep Stakes) and Kiss Mine (Listed West Virginia Senate President’s Stakes).
