Anamoe continued to enhance his reputation and also turn the spotlight on his sire Street Boss (US) when he returned to racing with a dominant win in the G2 Apollo Stakes (1,400m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday, 11 February.
The four-year-old stallion raced in fourth spot for jockey James McDonald to the home turn before racing past Hinged to win his 12th Stakes race, with seven placings from 22 starts.
Out of the G1-winning Australian mare Anamato, Anamoe has won seven G1 races and is on an autumn path that could end with his last run at Royal Ascot in June.
Street Boss, who won seven races and was placed four times from just 13 starts, is also the sire of Stakes winners Elite Street, Heresy, Arcaded and Pinstriped.
The stallion has 61 Stakes winners of 126 Stakes races worldwide - including eight at G1 level.
UP YOU GO ANAMOE!💙
