Right Hand Man took command at the top of the stretch and was never threatened as he charged to a two-and-a-half length victory in the Cavonnier Juvenile Stakes at Santa Rosa Aug. 14.
It was the first Stakes victory for the two-year-old son of Street Boss, who improved his record to two wins from three career starts.
Bred in Kentucky by Gordon Bithell, Right Hand Man is out of Storm Queen, a winning daughter of Stormy Atlantic. Right Hand Man’s second dam is Dixieland Gold, winner of the G2 Beaumont Stakes and Listed La Troienne Stakes.
Right Hand Man is one of 25 Stakes winners for his sire Street Boss, which are led by the brilliant three-year-old filly Cathryn Sophia, winner of the 2016 G1 Kentucky Oaks. In addition, Street Boss has sired the G1 winners Capo Bastone, Danza, and The Quarterback.
Street Boss is standing the 2016 Southern Hemisphere breeding season at Northwood Park at a fee of $27,500 inc. GST.
