Street Gem shines in Revidere Stakes
Street Boss sired an exciting new Stakes winner June 23 as three-year-old filly Street Gem took charge to win the Revidere Stakes at Monmouth Park.
In the one-and-one-sixteenth-mile turf race Street Gem pressed the pace in second. Rounding the far turn the filly took over the lead and pushed on down the stretch for the win.
Street Gem was bred in Kentucky by Machmer Hall and is out of Nesselrode, a half-sister to Stakes winner and G3-placed Desert Gold, who is the dam of G1 winner White Moonstone. The filly's second dam is Desert Stormette, a full-sister to G1 Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Desert Stormer.
Street Boss is the sire of eight Stakes horses to date from his first two crops, including unbeaten Stakes winner Bosco. He is also represented by Capo Bastone, who placed in the G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile and G1 FrontRunner Stakes.
