The good season being enjoyed by Street Boss 2YOs in Australia received yet another boost with the victory of Heresy in the G3 David Coles AM Stakes at Morphettville in Adelaide on Saturday, 15 May.
Having only her second start, Heresy handled the step up from maiden company to Group racing in great style, pulling out plenty to overpower the runner-up Karacasu by a long neck.
Street Boss’s latest crop of Australian juveniles are headed by the outstanding G1 winner Anamoe and also includes the G2 winner Arcaded. Heresy is one of his 61 individual winners in Australia this season and becomes his 50th Stakes winner worldwide.
Heresy had shown good ability when finishing second on debut at Geelong and displayed the benefit of that experience, producing a turn-of-foot to match her determination.
A Godolphin home-bred, she is out of Stakes-winning New Approach mare Montsegur.
Street Boss will stand the coming southern hemisphere season at Kelvinside, NSW, at a fee of $55,000 including GST.
