Pinstriped and Anamoe sealed a terrific day for their sire Street Boss when the pair won 1,400-metre features in Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday, 19 February.
Pinstriped, made it three starts for three wins when he zoomed home late under jockey Michael Dee to win the G3 C.S. Hayes Stakes over 1,400m at Flemington.
An hour later, champion colt Anamoe (Tommy Berry) again showed his class when he was too strong in the G2 Hobartville Stakes (1,400m) at Rosehill Gardens.
While last year’s Caulfield Guineas winner Anamoe, will now be targeted at the G1 Randwick Guineas next month, Pinstriped is likely to tackle the G1 Australian Guineas - also over 1,600m - at Flemington on March 5.
Pinstriped was bred by Peter Carrick from Noorilim Park Stud and sold at the 2019 Magic Millions National Weanling Sale to Enver Jusufovic/Gary Mudgway Bloodstock.
It was Jusufovic’s first Group race success as a trainer and Pinstriped became Street Boss’s 60th Stakes winner.
The stallion has eight lots to go under the hammer at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne from February 27 to March 1.
Street Boss is standing at Jonabell Farm for a fee of $15,000, stands and nurses.
