Elite Street continued his brilliant return to racing on Saturday, 30 October and lifted his sire Street Boss’s stakes-winning record even higher with an easy victory in the weight-for-age G3 Prince Of Wales Stakes over 1,000m at Ascot in Perth.
An easy first-up winner at that track over the same distance two weeks earlier, Elite Street pounced on his rivals in the final 200m to beat Stage-man and Indian Pacific running away in 58.16 seconds.
Jockey Brad Rawiller had an arm-chair ride on the winner whose dam, Elite Ateates (AUS), is by super-speed sire Exceed And Excel (AUS).
Winner of the G1 Winterbottom Stakes in Perth last year, Elite Street has now won seven of his 15 career starts for a prizemoney swag of $944,380.
The victory gave Street Boss (USA), also the sire of champion Australian three-year-old Anamoe, his 56th Stakes winner worldwide.
