The brilliant season being put together by Street Boss juveniles in Australia received a New Zealand addition thanks to the stunning victory of Atullibigeal in the Listed Auckland Futurity at Ellerslie on Saturday, 29 May.
A veteran of only four starts before his Stakes breakthrough, Atullibigeal made light of a wide run to win with plenty in hand by three lengths.
The success made him Street Boss’s 51st Stakes winner.
It also comes in a season in which Street Boss is Australia’s leading sire of two-year-old Stakes winners, with three of his latest crop of juveniles having won seven Black-Type races, plus Atullibigeal in New Zealand.
The Australia group is headed by Godolphin’s G1 winner Anamoe who is the leading contender for two-year-old of the year honors.
He is one of six to race from the Dansili mare Kelly’s Ocean Jewel, all of whom are winners, and descends from the family of G1 Irish Oaks winner Wemyss Bight.
Street Boss will stand the coming southern hemisphere season at Kelvinside, NSW, at a fee of $55,000, including GST
