Bernardini (pictured), who has made an exceptional start with his first runners will stand for $75,000 in 2011. On 9th October Bernardini became the first ever freshman to sire G1-winning juveniles on both dirt and turf, with A Z Warrior's victory in the Frizette Stakes following the Godolphin colt Biondetti's win in the Gran Criterium.
Elusive Quality, sire of multiple record-breaker Quality Road and America's leading sire by 2010 Stakes wins, is one of seven stallions on Darley's roster to have his fee reduced. Elusive Quality will stand at $50,000, while all of Darley's five unproven stallions will also see a decrease.
Street Cry, sire of three individual G1 winners in 2010, including Zenyatta, will remain at his 2010 fee of $150,000; Medaglia d'Oro, sire of 2010 G1 winners Gabby's Golden Gal, Warrior's Reward and Champagne d'Oro, also stays at his 2010 price of $100,000.
Fees have also been set for the two new stallions on the Darley roster. Eclipse Champion and the fastest-ever Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Midshipman will stand at a fee of $15,000, while multiple Graded Stakes winner Desert Party, a $2.1 million son of Street Cry who took the G2 Sanford at Saratoga and emulated his sire when winning the UAE 2,000 Guineas, will retire at $10,000.
