After tracking the leaders throughout the one and one-sixteenth mile feature at Belmont on July 7, Elusive Quality's Beau Choix was able to squeeze through on the rail and get up in the final strides for a hard-fought win in the Listed Rob N Gin Stakes at Belmont. The four-year-old, who is also G1-placed in the Jamaica Handicap, registered his third lifetime added-money win.
Owned and bred by Belle Meadows Stable and Lael Stable, Beau Choix is out of the G2 Stakes winner Belle Cherie, a half-sister to dual G1 winner Octave. Belle Cherie is also the dam of Stakes winner Last Best Place and Stakes-placed Belle Cherie Mary. In addition, she has a two-year-old full sister to Beau Choix and a 2011 yearling colt by fellow Darley stallion Street Sense.
