Bred by Gulf Coast Farms, LLC, Saturday Romp is out of the Stakes-winning Pancho Villa mare Showmetothevilla, and comes from the family of G1 Monmouth Oaks winner Without Feathers.
Any Given Saturday, winner of the G1 Haskell over Horse-of-the-Year Curlin, is the best son of Distorted Humor and commanded a yearling sales price of $1.1 million. His first crop of two-year-old also includes debutantes Ittasal and Brother Pat. His in-demand second crop includes yearlings that brought prices of $105,000 $115,000, $125,000 and $180,000.
Any Given Saturday will stand for $15,000 in 2012 at Jonabell.
