Jumping away well from the gates, the John Thompson-trained Elusive Quality filly Real Stolle headed to the middle of the track down the Flemington straight and always appeared to have the race well within her grasp.
Finishing fifth at her racetrack debut last start behind Commands colt Jimando, Real Stolle raced away to score a length-and-a-quarter victory in the G3 Maribyrnong Plate over five furlongs.
Out of the winning Desert King mare Lemon Ruski, a half-sister to the Stakes performers Chattanooga, Flying Spice and Cooktown, as well as the dam of Stakes winner Tindal, Real Stolle was bred by Indian Pacific Bloodstock. Lemon Ruski has a yearling by the unbeaten dual G1-winning Darley shuttle stallion Teofilo.
Real Stolle becomes the 72nd international Stakes winner for Elusive Quality who has been enjoying a stellar time of late through the deeds of Champion Australian colt Sepoy, a recent winner of the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, among four career G1 victories.
