Millionaire Any Given Saturday sired his fifth winner October 15 at Keeneland as Biogio’s Gift nabbed an easy win going six and one-half furlongs. The two-year-old filly settled in striking distance just off the pace. She advanced on the turn, traveling wide, and wore down competitors to take the victory.
Bred by Joseph Nastasi and Alfred Nastasi, Biogio’s Gift is out of the multiple Graded Stakes winning mare Biogio’s Rose, by Polish Numbers. The mare is a half-sister to the Stakes-placed runners Biogio’s Baby and Citizenship.
Any Given Saturday is the outstanding son of the exceptional sire Distorted Humor. A Graded Stakes winner at two and three, his wins include the G1 Haskell Invitational. His first crop winners include the impressive Ittasal in England and Hailtothevictors who was much the best at Parx September 10.
