Elusive Quality's son Sepoy showed once again that he is certainly Australia's Champion Juvenile with a dominant score October 15 in the G2 Perri Cutten Caulfield Sprint going 1100m. It was the sixth Graded victory for the colt. Breaking well, Sepoy settled in position just off the pace in second. Biding time, the colt made his move in the final furlong and and swept past leaders to easily prove much the best for the win.
Sepoy was bred by Darley Australia and is out of the Danehill mare Watchful, who is a full-sister to G1 winner Camarena. Camarena is the dam of G1 winner Camarilla, also by Elusive Quality.
Elusive Quality is the outstanding sire of G1 winners Quality Road, Raven’s Pass, and Smarty Jones, among numerous others. His two-year-old daughter Elusive Kate is already a fantastic G1 winner at Longchamp this year as well.
