Theyskens' Theory, by Bernardini, went back to winning ways as she landed the Listed Atalanta Stakes on Saturday, August 20. The three-year-old filly has now raced eight imes to win half of them including the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood. The winner, trained by Brian Meehan, settled nicely to charge home around two furlongs out and hold for a length and win her third Black type race.
The filly was bred by AR Enterprises and is owned by Andrew Rosen. She is out of the Summer Squall mare Heat Lightning, and is a half-sister to the 2005 US Champion Juvenile, Stevie Wonderboy.
Bernardini is also the sire of the Group 2 winner Stay Thirsty who will possibly try to emulate his sire in winning the Group 1 Travers Stakes, and G1 winning juveniles A Z Warrior and Biondetti from his first crop.
