The Discreet Cat filly took a four furlong maiden race by breaking alertly to set the pace. She maintained her safe lead in the stretch to clear for the easy victory.
Studio City was bred by B.D. Gibbs Farm, LLC and Scott Pierce and is out of Sincerely Susan, by Devil's Bag. The mare is a half-sister to Stakes winner Affordable Price and Graded-placed Cenyak's Star.
Discreet Cat's first crop of runners reflects the foals of 87 Stakes horses/producers. His 10 winners include Dehere Of The Cat at Saratoga and 10 length winner Lucky Dan. The son of Forestry's victories include the G1 Cigar Mile.
