Immersive caps off perfect season with victory in G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies

Daughter of Nyquist now a three-time G1 winner

Immersive came with a bold charge down the stretch as she powered away to a four-and-a-half length victory in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar on Friday, 1 November.

Breaking alertly from post three under jockey Manny Franco, the Godolphin homebred settled in mid-pack early as Nooni set a swift pace on the front end. Japanese raider American Bikini raced in second, and Vodka With a Twist followed in third. Racing between rivals down the backstretch and into the far turn, Immersive was swung to the outside for her run, and she began steadily closing on the leaders through the turn.

Immersive took the lead in the stretch, pulling away with every stride to win convincingly. Vodka With a Twist got up for second, with Quickick closing for third.
