Absolutely Zero took command in the stretch and held off the late charge of her stablemate Tahoma to win the Fasig-Tipton Futurity by a length at Santa Anita on Saturday, 18 June.

Sent off as the heavy favorite despite facing colts for the first time, Absolutely Zero justified her odds with a confident performance, pressing the pace for much of the race before taking the lead at the top of the stretch on her way to winning by a length.
Racing as a homebred for Reddam Racing, Absolutely Zero was bred in California and is out of the mare How About Zero, a multiple Stakes-winning daughter of Square Eddie. How About Zero is a full sister to Don’t Sell, who equaled the course record when winning the Unzip Me Stakes at Santa Anita. Additional Stakes winners hailing from the immediate family include Binary Light, winner of the G3 Knickerbocker Handicap, Fleet Eagle, and Stakes-placed Happy Michelle and Crazy Horse Lil.
The leading first crop sire of 2020, Nyquist is having yet another solid year, led by multiple Graded Stakes winner Scalding (G3 Ben Ali Stakes, G3 Challenger Stakes, etc.).
