Ghaamer took the lead right out of the gate and never looked back as he cruised to a neck victory in the seven furlong HH The President Cup at Abu Dhabi.
It was the first Stakes win for the son of Hard Spun, who improved his career record to seven wins in 23 career starts.
Bred in Kentucky by owner Shadwell Farm, Ghaamer is out of Teeba, a winning daughter of Seeking the Gold, and he hails from the female family of champions Shadayid, Park Appeal, and Alydaress.
Ghaamer is one of 46 Stakes winners for his sire Hard Spun, whose best progeny include G1 winners Smooth Roller, Hard Aces and Hard Not To Like.
Hard Spun is standing the 2016 season at Jonabell Farm at a fee of $45,000, stands and nurses.
