100th blacktype winner for Elusive Quality
In June of 2002, Frankiefourfingers won the Clarendon Stakes at Woodbine in Canada to become Elusive Quality's first career blacktype winner. "EQ" went on to become leading sire in North America in 2004 so the stage was set early on in his career for him to become an influential sire of much significance around the world.
Fast forward a little over 12 years to Santa Rosa racetrack in California on August 8th and Elusive Quality reached yet another milestone when his daughter Seduire led all the way to win the Wine Country Debutante Stakes to become Elusive Quality's 100th career blacktype winner.
Sudaire broke maiden on debut and then placed in the Landaluce Stakes at Del Mar. In the Wine Country Debutante, Seduire was heavily backed as the two to five favorite and she didn't disappoint her backers, taking the lead shortly after the start and winning wire-to-wire.
Seduire was bred by Anderson Farm and Marette Farell in Canada. She is out of an unraced daughter of retired Darley stallion Holy Bull and is also a full sister to Listed winner Saintliness And Listed winner Sly Butterfly.
Elusive Quality is the sire of 92 career Group or Graded performers, including Champion filly Certify, Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, Breeders’ Cup Classic winner and Darley sire Raven's Pass, Australian champion Sepoy and multiple European G1 winner Elusive Kate.
