Round one of Bid For Glory auction closes

Seasons to three in-demand Darley stallions is strong

The first of two online auctions for three 2014, live foal seasons to Darley sires Medaglia d'Oro, Street Sense and Animal Kingdom concluded on January 24 with bidders continuing to take advantage of this new, web-based approach to the sale of stallion seasons. Final prices once again reflected solid demand for these popular stallions:

Week 1 results (January 22-24)

·        Medaglia d'Oro - $120,500
·        Street Sense - $49,000
·        Animal Kingdom – $35,000

The second and final auction of three additional seasons to the aforementioned stallions will begin on Wednesday, January 29th 3 at 9:00 a.m., and end on Friday, January 31st, at 4:00 p.m.
