Lonhro gelding proves too good
Lonhro gelding Good Sight became the 39th Stakes winner for his sire when he proved too strong in the Listed Piala Emas Sultan Selangor in Malaysia, June 16.
Ridden by Australian jockey Noel Callow in the one-and-one-quarter mile race, Good Sight finished powerfully in the straight to record a two-and-three-quarter length victory.
Bred by International Thoroughbreds Bloodstock Investments, Good Sight is a full-brother to multiple Stakes winner Sainthood. Out of Anabaa mare Bonne Famille, Good Sight is the third Stakes horse Lonhro has produced out of an Anabaa mare from just 10 starters.
The sire of five G1 winners including Champion Two-year-old Pierro and Darley Australia stallions Denman and Benfica, Lonhro's first US-bred crop are foals of this season and have been earning rave reviews from breeders.
