Darley in America has announced that it will hold a series of online auctions of nominations to Medaglia d'Oro, Hard Spun and Lonhro for the 2013 breeding season.  Commencing this coming Tuesday, January 22, a total of nine seasons, three each to the aforementioned stallions, will sell via its website with Darley’s standard live foal terms and no reserves.

Olly Tait, Darley’s COO said, “We are extremely excited about this new initiative.  We have been able to make three additional seasons available to several of our fully-subscribed stallions and offering the seasons online via an auction allows our clients guaranteed access at prices that will be determined by them.”

Tait continued, “In addition, if our clients are the successful bidders in the online auction on a season to one of these three stallions and they already hold a 2013 contract to that same stallion, we will amend their existing contract should they buy it in the online auction for a lower price.”

Auction dates:
One season to each stallion will be offered each week, for three consecutive weeks.

9am Tuesday, January 22 – 5pm Friday, January 25
9am Monday, January 28 – 5pm Friday, February 1
9am Monday, February 4 – 5pm Friday, February 8
all times EST
