The six-year-old mare broke well on the inside and took the lead from the gate. Warrior Maid kept a clear advantage throughout for the strong wire-to-wire victory. The mare's other Stakes scores include the Louisiana Cup Filly and Mare Sprint Stakes and Premier Night Starlet Stakes, and she has placed in the G3 Eight Belles Stakes.
