Street Story lands Instant Racing Stakes
Street Cry added another Stakes winner to his record April 12 as three-year-old Street Story won the Instant Racing Stakes at Oaklawn.
In the six-furlong race the filly was towards the back of the field, seven-lengths off the lead. Into the stretch she traveled four-wide and finished strong to take the victory.
Bred by John C. Oxley, Street Story is out of the Tale Of The Cat mare Perfect Story, who has also produced Graded Stakes-placed Medjool. Perfect Story is out of Stakes winner Turko's Turn, and is a half-sister to Horse Of The Year and Classic winner Point Given.
Street Cry is the sire of 45 Graded Stakes winners lifetime, who include Horse Of the Year Zenyatta, two G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile winners in New Year's Day and Street Sense, as well as G1 winner and Darley stallion Street Boss.
