The spring races are now getting into full swing in Australia and at Caulfield on 15 August, two sons of Street Cry – Predatory Pricer and Whobegotyou - were quick to make their presence felt when filling the first two places in the G2 JJ Liston Stakes.
Settled in midfield, Predatory Pricer flew down the outside to take the seven-furlong contest by just a quarter of a length from his paternal half-brother Whobegotyou who also put up an impressive performance.
Winner of the G3 Gloaming Stakes at Rosehill last season, Predatory Pricer was also second in the G1 Spring Champion Stakes before finishing a close-up third in the G1 AJC Derby. He could now head for either the Cox Plate or the Caulfield Cup.
Whobegotyou was last year’s G1 Caulfield Guineas winner and also finished second in the Victoria Derby.
