Darley freshman sire Consolidator notched his sixth individual winner on August 7 when Encore Saritta took the five-furlong maiden on her racecourse debut at Saratoga.
Breaking well from the stalls, the Dallas Stewart-trained filly was settled just off the pace in second position and took the lead at the quarter pole. Despite bouncing off the inside rail close to home, she quickly recovered and crossed the wire a length ahead of Vaporize.
Bred by George Hoskins, Encore Saritta is out of the dual Stakes winner Sutter Sutter who has produced three winners from three foals to race.
Consolidator is also sire of Black type performer Absolute Music. He has one filly due to sell at next week’s Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale.
