The well-bred Theyskens’ Theory blazed an impressive trail on her second start in the UK on Saturday when making all on Newmarket’s July Course to win readily by five lengths.
The powerful daughter of Bernardini was in command from the gate and posted a time faster than the three-year-olds over the same seven-furlong (1400m) course earlier on the card.
Bred by AR Enterprises LLC, Theyskens’ Theory is out of Heat Lightning, by Summer Squall, and is a three-quarter sister to G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner and Airdrie Stud stallion Stevie Wonderboy. Clearly highly regarded by trainer Brian Meehan and owner Andrew Rosen, she holds an entry for the G1 Meon Valley Stud Fillies’ Mile at Ascot on September 25.
Bernardini is also the sire of A Z Warrior, who won a Hollywood Park maiden on July 15.
