Round two of Bid For Glory auction closes

Second week of online bidding remains strong

The second of three online auctions for three 2014, live foal seasons to Darley sires Medaglia d'Oro, Street Sense and Lonhro concluded on October 18 as bidders continued to take advantage of this innovative, web-based approach to the sale of stallion seasons. Final prices once again reflected strong demand for these popular stallions:

Week 2 results (October 16-18)

Medaglia d'Oro - $105,500
Lonhro - $46,000
Street Sense - $41,500

Week 1 results (Octobber 9-11)

Medaglia d'Oro - $112,500
Lonhro - $40,000
Street Sense - $34,000

The third and final auction of three additional seasons to the aforementioned stallions will begin on Wednesday, October 23 at 9:00 a.m., and end on Friday, October 25, at 5:00 p.m.
