Three-year-old Animal Kingdom filly Regal Glory pulled away in the stretch to an easy victory in the Penn Oaks at Penn National on Saturday, June 1st.
Sent off as the 1-9 favorite, Regal Glory came from mid-pack to win by three lengths, completing a Darley-sired superfecta over Alasaayil (Hard Spun), Jennifer's Dream (Medaglia d'Oro), and Afleet Destiny (Hard Spun).
She now has three wins from five starts for trainer Chad Brown and owner-breeder, Paul P. Pompa.
Bred in Kentucky by her owner, Regal Glory is out of the More Than Ready mare, Mary’s Follies, winner of the G2 Mrs. Revere Stakes and G3 Boiling Springs. Regal Glory is a half-sister to Night Prowler, winner of the G3 Transylvania Stakes and G3 Dania Beach Stakes.
Animal Kingdom is the sire of ten Black Type winners including G1 Australian Derby winner Angel of Truth, G2 winner Untamed Domain, and G3 winner Elsa.
He is standing the 2019 breeding season at Jonabell Farm for a fee of $15,000, stands and nurses.
