Darley in America has announced that it will hold a new series of online auctions of nominations to Medaglia d'Oro, Lonhro and Street Sense for the 2014 breeding season.  Commencing Wednesday, October 9, a total of nine seasons, three each to the aforementioned stallions, will sell via its website with Darley’s standard live foal terms and no reserves.

Medaglia d’Oro and Lonhro, who were included in the first online auctions in January of this year, were very well received. Street Sense, returning to America from Japan for 2014, will be a new addition.

Charlie Boden, Head of Sales at Darley in America, said, “Following the overwhelming success of the online auctions conducted earlier this year, we are delighted to be able to provide the opportunity for our breeders to gain access to a group of stallions that we feel strongly will be oversubscribed for the upcoming breeding season.”

Boden continued, “The feedback we received last year was extremely positive with the only change being that we’ve shortened the auction from five to three days.”

Auction dates:
One season to each stallion will be offered each week, for three consecutive weeks.
9am Wednesday, October 9 – 5pm Friday, October 11
9am Wednesday, October 16 – 5pm Friday, October 18
9am Wednesday, October 23 – 5pm Friday, October 25
all times EST
