Offlee Swift became the seventh black type performer for her sire Offlee Wild when winning the Listed Ellen’s Lucky Star Stakes by an eye-catching four lengths at Indiana Downs.
Bred by Swifty Farms Inc., the three-year-old filly is out of Cold Porridge, a daughter of Tiffany Ice. She has now won two of her three starts, having finished runner-up on debut at the same track on 16 April, a performance which she followed up with a maiden win less than three weeks later.
Offlee Wild, who was the champion freshman sire in 2009, is also responsible for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies winner She Be Wild and dual Stakes winner Heavenville.
