Two-year-old Seaside Magic became Hard Spun's thirteenth winner September 4 winning her debut in a Maiden Special Weight at Parx Racing.
During the five and one-furlong race the filly set the pace from the inside. Coming around the turn the filly was challenged and then kicked on past competitors to draw clear for the win.
Seaside Magic was bred by Michael Ranier and is out of Enduring Will, by Arch. The mare was a Stakes winner at two and was Graded-placed at three. Seaside Magic has a yearling half-sister by Medaglia d'Oro.
