Gabby's Golden Gal golden again at Fasig-Tipton November

Daughter of Medaglia d'Oro brings $1.25 million

Medaglia d'Oro's multiple G1-winning daughter Gabby's Golden Gal struck gold for owner/breeder Arnold Zetcher LLC at Fasig-Tipton's November sale on November 7th bringing $1.25 million as hip number 69. The dark bay or brown filly, one of five G1 winners for her sire, found the winner's circle four times during her 10-start career, including victories in the G1 Santa Monica Handicap and G1 Acorn Stakes.

Medaglia d'Oro, who has sired more session toppers at the major sales than any other stallion since 2007, is the sire of 26 stakes horses from his first two crops, including Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra, and other G1 winners Warrior's Reward, Passion for Gold and Champagne d'Oro.
