Frost At Dawn rocketed out of the starting gate and never looked back on her way to notching a two-and-a-half length victory in the G3 Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, 2 March.
One of just two three-year-olds in the field, the daughter of Frosted set a new course record in the race, completing five furlongs on the turf in :55.41. Frost At Dawn, who was making her Graded Stakes debut, improved her record to 2-3-1 in seven career starts. She likely earned a spot in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint at the end of this month.
Bred in Kentucky by Rabbah Bloodstock, Frost At Dawn is out of the winning War Front mare, Hawana, a half-sister to multiple Stakes winner, Ocean Atlantique and to Stakes-placed Gold Heritage.
Frost At Dawn’s sire, Frosted, is off to an impressive start in 2024, with four Stakes winners to his credit so far. In addition to Frost At Dawn, the stallion is represented by two-time 2024 Stakes winner, Post Time, winner of the G3 General George Stakes in his most recent start. Frosted is also the sire of Security Code, winner of the Broadway Stakes and Icicles, winner of the Likely Exchange Stakes.
Frosted is standing the 2024 breeding season at Jonabell Farm for $10,000, stands and nurses.
