Millionaire Any Given Saturday was the sire of a fourth winner September 10 in a Parx Racing maiden event as the filly Hailtothevictors posted a well fought win in what was her second start.
During the five furlong race the two-year-old dueled for control on the outside. Leading at every call Hailtothevictors edged away in the stretch for the win.
Bred in Pennsylvania by SMD Limited, Hailtothevictors is out of the Awesome Again mare Code Variance. A strong family, the mare is a half-sister to G2 winners Keyed Entry and Justin Phillip as well as Stakes winners Alex's Allure and Successful Mission. The filly's second dam is the Stakes-placed mare Avaknowsthecode. Code Variance produced a 2010 colt by Bernardini.
An outstanding son of Distorted Humor, Any Given Satruday is the winner of the G1 Haskell Invitational, among others. He is now the sire of four winners, among them Brother Pat, Saturday Launch, and the highly regarded Ittasal in England. Any Given Saturday's first two crops include the offspring of 123 Stakes winners or producers.
