Elusive Quality's Chronnos takes command in Brazil
Elusive Quality's four-year-old son Chronnos added a third Stakes win to his record June 19 with a strong win in the Clas. L. Gurgel Do Amara Valente at Gavea in Brazil. The colt took the six-furlong race comfortably over a sloppy track.
A winner of the G3 GP Hipodromo Da Gavea last November, the son of Elusive Quality also won the Clas. T. Teixeira De Assumpcao earlier this year. The colt is out of the mare Sweet Kentucky, a multiple Graded Stakes winner in Brazil.
The sire of 116 Stakes winners lifetime, Elusive Quality's best runners include G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, 2014 leading freshman sire Quality Road, Australian Champion Sepoy, and G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass. This year the sire has been represented by G2 Santa Ynez Stakes winner Seduire, G3 Orchid Stakes winner Beauty Parlor, and Eh Cumpari, a winner of the G3 Palm Beach Stakes, among others.
Elusive Quality stands for $40,000 live foal, stands and nurses.
