Elusive Quality's Ana Luisa stays perfect
The newest black-type winner for Elusive Quality came March 24 as Ana Luisa took the G3 Grande Premio Emerald Hill. The two-year-old filly - the first Group Stakes winner from her sire's first crop in Brazil - stayed perfect in the 1300 meter race at Cidade Jardim in Brazil. Ana Luisa was content to settle in fourth position, before taking on leaders in the stretch and cruising to a nearly four length victory.
The Elusive Quality filly is out of the Royal Academy mare New Regina, a G2 winner in Brazil, who is a half-sister to Brazilian G1 winner Istbestand. Ana Luisa hails from the family of multiple G1 winner Einstein.
A sire of quality around the world, Elusive Quality has sired G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, and Australian Champion Sepoy. In 2012 he was represented by unbeaten European Champion two-year-old filly Certify and G1-winning miler Elusive Kate.
Elusive Quality currently stands at Darley USA for $50,000 Stands and Nurses.
