Daughter of Bernardini finishes with too much force for rivals
Bernardini mare Peace Force recorded her seventh win and her first at Stakes level with a determined win in the G3 Glenlogan Park Stakes at Doomben in Brisbane, May 23.
A runner-up at G3 level in her previous two starts, Peace Force travelled in behind the speed in the early stages. Allowed to stride up to the leaders by jockey Tim Bell at the top of the straight, the daughter of Bernardini wore down Street Cry mare Solicit over the concluding stages, her conqueror two weeks earlier in the G3 Hawkesbury Crown at Rosehill.
Bred by Orange Grove Thoroughbreds, Peace Force is out of G2-placed Marscay mare Marrego, the dam of five-time G1 winner Eremein as well as Stakes winner Gliding.
Represented by his 10th G1 winner earlier this month when Dame Dorothy claimed the Humana Distaff at Churchill Downs, Bernardini is also the sire of multiple G1 winners Alpha, To Honor And Serve, Boban and Stay Thirsty.
