Cherokee Run filly Running Bride lands juvenile Stakes race

Running Bride, a juvenile filly by Cherokee Run, maintained her unbeaten record on Saturday when she landed the City of Anderson Stakes at Hoosier Park.

Sent into the race as odds-on favourite after winning by seven-lengths on debut, she drew away in the stretch to again record a facile three and three-quarter length triumph.

Bred by Swifty Farms, she is out of the Green Dancer mare Kazumina and a half-sister to Stakes winner O K To Dance and from the family of five-time G1 winner Devil His Due.
