Girolamo: Italian for exacta!

Debut fillies run one-two for freshman sire

First-crop sire Girolamo was very close to siring the first three finishers of the sixth race at Saratoga Racetrack on August 7th but ultimately had to "settle" for the exacta with debuting daughters She’s All Ready and Legend Of Lorelei running 1-2 in Maiden Special company at the New York track. Shortly after the race, the TDN made her the latest TDN Rising Star off of her tremendous performance.

She’s All Ready fired quickly from the gate with the co-favorite, Surprise Cameo, hot on her hooves. Those two didn’t change positions until the very end of the race when Debutant Girl rallied in the stretch to beat out Surprise Cameo at the wire. She's All Ready's margin of victory at the wire was eight lengths.

Bred in New York by Kings and Queens Farm, She’s All Ready is out of the winning El Prado mare Prominent. Prominent is out of the stakes-winning mare Biblionic.

Girolamo, a son of A.P Indy and a full sister to the dam of Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver, won the G1 Vosburgh and the G2 Jerome Handicap. His first crop also includes Belmont maiden winner Lucky Lurie, also Stakes-placed at Belmont, and debut winner Thiscatsacowboy. The win by She’s All Ready places Girolamo among the top 10 freshman sires in North America in 2015 by earnings.
