Elusive Quality's Sai De Baixo adds another Black type win

Five in a row for G2-winning mare

Elusive Quality's four-year-old daughter Sai De Baixo notched a remarkable fifth Stakes win in a row February 21 in the Listed Classico Erasmo T. De Assumpcao on the turf at Cidade Jardim in Brazil.

The mare's winning streak goes back to last July and includes scores in the G2 Grande Premio Proclamao Da Republica and G3 Grande Premio Independencia, both over the same course.

In the 1000-meter sprint Sai De Baixo was always in contention, stalking the lead. In the final stages of the race the Elusive Quality mare took control and easily sealed the win.

Bred and owned by Haras Old Friends Ltd. in Brazil, Sai de Baixo is a daughter of Royal Academy mare Ke Mint, a half-sister to G2 winner and G1-placed Mary Re.

Elusive Quality is the sire of 13 G1 winners worldwide, who include Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, Australian Champion Sepoy, multiple G1-winning filly Elusive Kate, and 2014 top freshman sire Quality Road.

Elusive Quality stands the 2015 breeding season for $40,000 live foal, stands and nurses.
