Sweet N Discreet shines in Florida Sunshine Millions Distaff

Full-sister to Discreet Dancer is newest Stakes winner for Discreet Cat

Trainer Todd Pletcher made the right move January 18 opting to stretch four-year-old filly Sweet N Discreet out in the Florida Sunshine Millions Distaff at Gulfstream. The Discreet Cat filly was much the best in the $300,000 event.

In the one-and-one-eighth-mile race Sweet N Discreet settled in third, three-lengths off the pace. Rounding the far turn the filly made her move to sweep past competitors and couldn't be caught in the stretch.

Sweet N Discreet was second last time out in the Ocala Stakes at Gulfstream for owner/breeder E. Paul Robsham Stable, LLC.

Out of the Gone West mare West Side Dancer, the filly is a full-sister to G2 winner and G1-placed Discreet Dancer, and a half-sister to Graded Stakes winner Travelin Man.

Sweet N Discreet marks the 14th Stakes winner for her sire Discreet Cat. The sire has been represented by a total of seven Graded Stakes winners which include G1 winners Discreet Marq and Secret Compass, in addition to the previously mentioned Discreet Dancer.

Discreet Cat's 2014 stud fee is $20,000 live foal, stands and nurses.
