Seduire steals the show in Golden Gate Debutante Stakes

Elusive Quality two-year-old wins her second Stakes

Two-year-old Elusive Quality filly Seduire is no stranger to the winner's circle already in her young racing career. Previously a winner of the Wine Country Debutante Stakes in August, the filly secured her second Stakes win November 29 as the 3-5 favorite in the Golden Gate Debutante Stakes at Golden Gate Fields.

In the six-furlong sprint Seduire was away well out of the gate to take control of a clear lead. Maintaining position throughout, the filly kicked away in the stretch to a dominant six-length win.

Bred by Anderson Farms Ont. Inc. & Marette Farrell, the Elusive Quality filly is out of the Holy Bull mare Holy Eclaire, a full-sister to Listed winners Saintliness and Sly Butterfly.

A sire of fantastic runners around the world, Elusive Quality is the sire of 13 G1 winners lifetime, among them G1 Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones, G1 Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass, Australian Champion Sepoy, and multiple G1 winner and leading freshman sire Quality Road. Top runners for the sire this year include G3 La Jolla Handicap winner Enterprising and multiple Group-winning-filly Shuruq.

Elusive Quality will stand the 2015 breeding season for $40,000 live foal, stands and nurses.
