Patricia L Chapman and John C Servis are the proud breeders of Rockport Harbor’s first winner Parvenu, who scored on debut at Philadelphia Park on Sunday.
Coming with a determined late run, the filly got the better of Rock Hard Candy by half a length at the wire.
Parvenu is out of Last Toots, a daughter of Concern, and is trained by her co-breeder John Servis for Someday Farm and Josh Tulane Farm.
Rockport Harbor’s fellow Darley freshmen Bernardini and Henny Hughes both recorded their second winners of the campaign over the weekend.
