Great White Eagle soars at The Curragh

Son of Elusive Quality remains undefeated

Named a TDN Rising Star after his career debut win at Naas on August 5, Elusive Quality Great White Eagle was a deserving favorite in the G3 Go and Go Round Tower Stakes at The Curragh on September 1. And he didn't disappoint to become the latest Group winner for his sire.

Allowed to settle near the rear early, he moved with good progress until he grabbed the lead with a furlong to go. His final winning margin was a comfortable two lengths.

Produced from the winning Miesque's Son mare Gender Dance, Great White Eagle is a half-brother to the G3 Stakes-placed winner Quarrel. He was bred in partnership in Kentucky by Darley and Rosemont Farm.

Great White Eagle represents the 32nd career Group or Graded winner sired by Elusive Quality. Included among these is the talented, multiple 2013 G1 winner Elusive Kate, along with such outstanding performers as Smarty Jones, Raven's Pass and Quality Road.
