Top freshman sire gets first foal of the year
2015 freshman sire Girolamo was represented by his first foal of the year, a filly, this past week at Jonabell Farm in Lexington, Ky. Girolamo was the fourth ranked freshman sire last year with 19 winners, including Stakes winner and G1-placed She's All Ready.
The newborn is the first foal out of the Elusive Quality mare Gratitude, a full to Champion Tiznow, two-time winner of the G1 Breeders' Cup Classic. Gratitude will be bred to Discreet Cat this year.
